A spectacular summer day in the middle of winter
brought out a stunning array of Cadillacs and LaSalles for the annual Lakewood show and
luncheon on February 4th. By noon the temperature was in the mid 80s and nearly 40 vintage
cars had assembled on the grass in front of the clubhouse.
Palms, pines, manicured lawn, green awnings, and
magnificent old Cadillacs...they all seem to go together. Our club has kicked off the new
year at the LCC for so many years, it's become a real tradition. Unfortunately, in January
and February, it's always a gamble on the weather. Any other Sunday in February would have
been a wash out, but the Goddess of Cadillac smiled on us again.
The Hacienda Room, overlooking the car show, was filled
to capacity. Thanks to the folks at LCC Catering for another perfect day.

This was a banner year for forties cars. Here Tony
Hiller's award winning '47 heads a group arriving at the registration station.

Above and Below: Two photos that have that
quintessential LCC flavor.

hat. Seated behind her, at the luncheon, are Alan Ravitch and Don Zig.
