LAKEWOOD EVENTS SETS
ATTENDANCE RECORD
Even though it was February,
the weather was sunny & warm. So many Cadillacs & LaSalles showed
up, that there was a long line of cars waiting to take their place on
the lawns at the Lakewood Country Club & many of us were worried that
there would not be enough room for all.
Some of the cars earned special
recognition & fewer still were awarded acrylic trophies memorializing
the Lakewood Winter Car Show.
Over 50 cars & 110 people came
out for the event which featured a fabulous multi course banquest style
luncheon, highlighted by a stirring presentation by CLC Director
Emeritus, Roy Schneider on the evolution of the Cadillac V-12 & V-16
cars & their collector value today as one of the "great sleeper
investments of all times".
