Car was acquired in 1995 in Prescott, AZ from 4th owner. Originally purchased and then owned once more by CLC member Bruce Hyatt, Thousand Oaks, CA. At the time of purchase in Prescott, car was a typical "50 footer", (looked great at 50 feet, but upon closer inspection had alligator paint and pitted chrome).

Major restoration took place over the next two years including all chrome, paint and interior, (leather replaced cloth seat covers due to cowl plate calling for "SO" leather). Engine rebuild and auxiliary fuel pump installed, (with return fuel line to tank), to solve recurrent vapor lock problem with fuel system in hot weather conditions.

Car is today a strong runner with beautiful appearance. Placed 3rd in class in GN-2006. Third place was due to some upgrades which detracted from originality score, (radial tires, seat belts, 3rd brake light and more).
