Facts:
This 1941 Cadillac was restored in the early 1980's by Clayton "Bud"
Parkhill of Temecula, California, and was first seen in a Southern
California meet in Lakewood, January 1986. During the restoration,
Bud contacted me when he needed a rear window. I knew of a '41
6219 parts car in Riverside, California. Rather than just sending the glass
and frame, they torched the assembly, including the surrounding body
steel, from the car and shipped it to Bud. Bud Parkhill passed away in
1999 and thus the car came into my possession. It is a lovely car with
a super two-tone blue interior in wool broadcloth and Bedford cord.
The exterior is painted in a two-tone crystal and ocean blue. |
